Terrible croissant. Not flaky and soft. One of the toughest croissant i ever had. I imagine it was made to dip it in your coffee. $4 is way overpriced for such a small hard chewy croissant. If you value your teeth and am not needing a jaw exercise, better to just get one from Pak n save. There's also no sliced bread since it's a French style bakery.

Little France in Christchurch!Truly can taste France wit one bite of this pastry. It is absolutely outstanding in this area, n also one of the best for me! Baguette is better than some in France! If you r looking for real European style bread, you should come and try! (FYI, coffee is warm and so good as well.)

Sorry I don't like to write bad review but the white bread I bought last week was really bad. I didn't taste the pastries, but if it's the same quality than the bread just go away. If you are looking for a good bread in Christchurch there are other really good bakery so don't waste your money there.

Tried a few items for brunch, really impressed with the quality. Croissant was dense but light with great flavour (unlike the too sweet fluff that you get elsewhere), both the quiche and bacon and egg pie were very tasty, pastry crisp and buttery - will definitely be back to try more savory goodness!

Just okay, maybe it’s because it’s a Monday noon, are weren’t a lot of customers, the choices for food and coffee were pretty limited, the croissant tasted solid, but wish it was warm instead of cold.

Called in today and first time in ages that I got a park!! Asked for my favorite pastry and got such a rude response I'm never going back. Didn't matter that I'm happy to buy another beautiful pastry!!

Got a pain au blueberries but was actually a pain sans blueberries, only one found in last bite. Also the pastry was tough and didn't seem fresh. Coffee OK but wouldn't recommend pastries

Consistently poor quality pastries. Croissants are basically bread. The only reason I go here is if I don't feel like going across town to the better places.It is quite a wonder to me that they are still in business, but I think it's a case of people not knowing better, or, like me going there for convenience.
