They have alot of knowledge and friendly StaffOnly been open a few months but already my favorite stihl shop!

Repair service very expensive. Got my brush cutter repaired at a half price at shop on Cuba St Wellington

Took line trimmer in for a service and explained that it wasn't running correctly. They said they would give it a service and make sure it's running right. Got it back after service and it still wasn't running right. Took it back and they charged me an extra $30 for a tune". I don't mind paying the money to get it fixed and running correctly

Friendly staff that always give their best advice on what products suit your needs.Rob, the mechanic was very helpful and broke down all the details regarding the work he had done and made it easy to understand.I needed something that wasn't in stock and the guys made it easy to get sorted and followed up with me as soon as the stock had arrived.

Customer service at the Stihl shop in Lyall Bay was superb. Followed up on the product we wanted and were really helpful. Thanks guys!

Unwilling to make a deal, which I wouldn't have minded so much, but they rudely refused to discuss it. It seemed a bit hostile.Lower Hutt store made me feel much more welcome.

I will never go back to the Lyall Bay Stihl shop and I would be very reluctant to buy Stihl tools again. I emailed the company twice by direct email and through their website to get an opinion about my experience, I never had a reply,. So here is what happened and I leave it for you to judge the service I was given: I took my Stihl line trimmer to the Lyall Bay shop few months ago after it broke down, I paid $45 for a quote, waited over 3 weeks, got quoted $300, and the staff couldn’t explain what was wrong with the machine. I was originally told the $45 for the quote would be deducted from the repair cost if I went ahead or taken off the price of a new tool, but that 2nd offer for a new tool was withdrawn when I got the quote. So I collected my line trimmer, took it to a non-Stihl workshop, it got fixed for $147.

Put my lawn mower into a repair shop in Cuba st where it sat for 2 months with me ringing to ask how it was going weekly only at the end of said time that he gives up on getting working .Went to Zak 24hrs later running better than it ever has. I am most impressed with service.Thanks
