Great supermarket. Good selection in all departments.Lots of variety of pre-cooked food. And, very helpful n friendly staff.Great time to shop in the evening - got in just before 7 (on Sat)and breezed through the store in the quickest time!

Bought Pappadums last week and just realised that it’s already expired because the taste was off. Very disappointed with New World. This already happened twice. Last time it was New World Ormiston selling expired goods. Make sure to check the expiry date when you shop in New World.

Good selection of fresh and frozen food. Clean and tidy, well run with a few worthwhile specials. This is the best grocery in the area. Prices are high compared to Aus or EU but it’s the same all over NZ.

I do like this new world,but some of their prices are more expensive than other supermarkets,there is a fair amount of parking, it does get busy on the main road when you are trying to get out so drive with caution. New world is big,fairly decent wine selection,its in a convenient location so its ideal to stop there on your way home
