This is so bad it's unbelievable!Firstly what they show on the website they don't even have there. There is no roast meat, no ham. The vegetables I kid you not, are clearly from a bag of frozen ones like I buy at countdown. The mash potato, was from a PACKET!!!! The rice was disgusting.The potato salad was just potato with mayonnaise thrown in and was blander than what I make at home, and the macaroni looked too stodgy to touch. Salad was some grated carrot and some lettuce.The desserts such a disappointment, no cream, no ice cream, and the website is a lie! There's no Pavalova like the pictures, it's just a tiny store brought meringue. I love caramel slice, but I couldn't even eat this, and it's so obviously from a packet also!!In fact, the slice from BP is ten times better.The steak was mostly fat with salt poured all over it.I couldn't even eat the cold chips and chewy spring rolls.Without a doubt the worst meal we have ever paid for,Some one call Gordon Ramsay!

While the other reviews are valid, this restaurant is amazing. Of course the food is not Michelin star quality but on they're website they advertise themselves as a family business which they are. The food is of good quality and good taste with enough variety for everyone in the family of all ages. The staff were quick to refill any empty dishes or assist you in finding cutlery. The lady we had was incredibly kind when she greeted us and continuously checked up on us and cleared our table. While I understand the price might not be for everyone the amount of work that the chef has done and the cleanliness of the restaurant far justify the costs. It's a great experience with great staff and great atmosphere. Highly recommend as a place to create or re-experience a nostalgic childhood.

Due to the cost of $49 just for a meal I sorry I felt that it was way to steep for the cold food that was out ...The selection was poor .. and the desert was shocking not even a size of a 10cent piece of cream in the brandy snaps the wall paper was ripped and falling off the walls ... I do have one positive that the cucumber and coleslaw was fresh

Was really excited to go here for dinner, however we were really disappointed with the food. All of the seafood tasted and smelled off, and we were turned away by this and did not finish any of the seafood we put on our plates, the meat was also disappointing. The dessert was a step up and a little bit better however some components were still a let down. Although their chocolate mousse was delicious and probably the best thing we ate. Another plus was also the chocolate fountain.

Its unfortunate to see the reviews. We really enjoyed our dinner here tonight. The service was lovely!! We enjoyed the steak and we liked that we had the option to buy a refillable cup. Like many other restaurants there is always room for improvement but its no where near as bad as some of these reviews suggest it is, well not in my opinion anyway. We'll for sure be back

there was a cockroach on our table and chicken was undercooked. staff were lovely but the food was atrocious and no hygiene practices at all. oysters were also horrible

Will never go here again. The price you pay is not worth it!!!. You have been warned!!!!!!,Plates were still dirty aswell as high chairs and cutlery., Being disapointed is a understatement!Meat was sour. Seafood was disgusting. Never finished our, plates. The kids evan hated it & my 80 year o,,ld grandfather couldnt evan down the food. I DO NOT reccomend going here. Its not like how it use to be run. Only money makers. Im suprised they still open tbh. Hygiene is DIAGUSTING! Filthy !its a NO STARS FOR ME AND MY FAMILY. BUT i couldnt post with outgiving a star! Yuck!Paid for dina 3 adult s 3 kids. Never again. Someone needs to shut this place down.

If I could give this a Zero I would. I don't even know where to start for the amount of complaints and disappointment not only I have but My Family have for this socal new" building. Although Myself and My Family use to come to Valetines regularly since the old building and even then it started to go down hill. This socal "new and meant to be improved" Valentines hasn't changed one bit

I will give a negative rating if i can.Or zero.I have to give a minimum of one star.Please don't go to this place.Horrible foodWe spent $190Left our food on the plates after 15 minsAnd left the place.They should really improve, or authority must shut them down.Everything said in other negative reviews is true.Horrible quality food - gave us upset stomach and made us feel unwell even though we ate only a little bit.I wish i would have read the reviews beforehand.My wife had a good memory of this place, Years ago, so we went there again. It's really gone down the hill.Please don't waste your money or time here & get food poisoning.People who are posting good reviewsEither they are fake or never really have eaten better quality food & experienced better service.
