Ordered chicken phô, been eating here for years and qualified if there’s beef in the stock. Always told I can use the veggie stock.Got home and there’s brown stock.I call and then I’m told the phô is always and always has been beef stock even the veggie phô. How can the stock for a vegetarian meal be beef stock?Very disappointing and upsetting I’m 6 months pregnant and wanted a good soup. Now back to the drawing board.

Nice vibe with table service; don't think the price matches the portion though. We ordered chicken skewers with lime, lemongrass, chili and ginger with a fresh salad and the deep fried crumbed tofu with cucumber and tomato salad with chilli sauce. Rice was not included. Chicken skewers was very tasty!

Just had a meal at Cafe Hung Viet. Boa buns were good as usual. However the Hanoi stye grilled pork was swimming in oil and the crispy pancake looked as if it had been deep fried. It was certainly crispy but very oily. I feel really sad giving such a negative review as we've supported this local cafe for many years. But tonight was pretty grim and we didn't finish the meals. The service was very good.

Ordered the beef pho, and the noodle was served stuck together. I had to separate it, and the noodles came apart with a snap. The sliced beef was a little thick, and you need to ask for the sauce if you like to have it.The egg coffee was not available. Hence, I ordered Vietnamese ice coffee, and it was good.For the cleanness, they'd better use the clean wet cloths to wipe the table. I smelled bad smell from the table.

We had lunch there today. We have travelled to Vietnam twice and the food today took us straight back there. It was beautiful. The service was great too. We had a nice chat with one of the staff about Vietnam. Highly recommend this place - if we lived in Auckland we would be back all the time.

We’ve been in this wonderful restaurant for my birthday and I really enjoyed it! Food was fresh and delicious, and the service was great and we felt very welcomed! I personally love to travel around the world and this little place was like a nice journey to Vietnam! I will hardly recommend the deserts too as they were amazing!

The food is average but the price is too high for a portion. I ordered a shaking beef last time, the price is around $30. It includes some veg and 4 to 5 pieces of beef cube
