Alexa.Doula & Photography

I chose to have a Doula during my 4th Pregnancy. Why?I didnt choose a doula out of fear of the birth process, i was absolutely confident in my ability to birth my baby at home. Teo was my first homebirth, and probably the last babe i bring earth side.I chose a Doula because i had a deep desire for care and support throughout my pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I didn't expect to be blessed with my 4th baby after my journey with cancer but here i was with this incredible blessing our gift from the divine and i wanted to really honor it moment to moment.My Doula didnt just serve me but she also allowed space and served others around me when needed such as Joshua Alexa was an incredible support for us both during pregnancy birth and postpartum.Having someone in our space who understood and encouraged the sacredness of birth, held space for my fears that would pop up, and encouraged me to connect with my true intentions for my birth.

Alexa came highly recommended to us by my yoga teacher and we were not dissapointed. She is an incredibly talented photographer and really wonderful person with a gorgeous, happy energy. She gave us lots of tips about preparing for the family shoot and advice on what to wear. Every email was answered on the same day - her communiction was faultless. It was a very special way to spend my birthday with my family. Thank you Alexa for the stunning family memories, we will treasure them for ever and we will be back again next year.

I have worked with Alexa on my birth healing journey and most recently she photographed our family. She is professional and made us feel so comfortable. She helped me pick colour schemes for location and captured our family for exactly who we are. It was magic. Absolutely exceeding my expectations. She has also guided me in my birth trauma healing and provided such a loving, judgement free and safe space for me to be vulnerable. Can’t recommend her enough.
