Bluebridge Cook Strait Ferries - Picton

Very good staff, very friendly and always think about people. I’ve booked a lift for my mum, so they parked us close to the lift and helped with directions etc. very nice! Left on time and arrived on time during our recent trip. Thanks a mil!

Great location in Wellington. Had a great trip and met some lovely young people from Germany, Denmark, and Holland. Great cafe service. Felt a bit abandoned and got a bit lost trying to exit the boat on arrival in Picton. Far too many stairs, not good for older passengers or when wearing a knee brace. It would be good to have walk on passenger entrance rather than having to go through the vehicle area. It was a bit scary between the big trucks with very little room to carry gear.

Unfortunately by far the worst experience in all of New Zealand. Used 2 times and 2 times approx. 6h delay. We therefore didn't get our rental car in Picton either and were therefore standing around midnight with our luggage in the tranquil village and were able to organise an extra night.If you talk to the locals, you will learn that this is more the standard than the exception. Actually, the one star is too much.

What a horrible experience I had and what a horrible company this is. After an 8-hour delay for a already late sailing this company offers no compensation for such an egregious delay of service. No offer of partial refund, future credit, nothing. For a arrival that was supposed to be at 11:00 p.m. and instead arrives at 7:00 a.m. the next day I will never use this company again. Shame on them.

Fantastic service yet again. Staff are extremely helpful and agreeable. Despite weather upsets our crossings were reliable and enjoyable. Already booked our next trip with Bluebridge Ferries.

Wish I could gove them zero stars. Because our ferry was cancelled on the same day we were supposed to ship we had to pay an extra $1700 for airplane tickets and $2500 to ship our vehicles and another $1000 in general expenses. What did Bluebridge day to us? I am sorry there is nothing we can do. Ridiculous!! What a bloody nightmare of a day we had while busy moving. We will never ever use them again! We are all suffering from ptsd and anxiety. My kids and animals were traumatized and I had to arrange urgent foster care for my pets. I don't know when all see them or my vehicles again. Think twice before purchasing a ticket.

Highly Recommend Bluebridge if your looking at taking the Trip across the Cook Straight. Competitive Deals on pricing. Boat was tidy.What made the Trip was the AWESOME STAFF!! Helpfull, Friendly & Understanding.What more could you Ask for?

Supposed to depart at 7:45am, delayed to an 8:45am departure. It’s currently 9:15am and I’m still waiting in line with no end in sight, watching the workers stand around and joke and do nothing. Can’t wait to see what it’ll be like if I actually get on board.

We did the 2am crossing, wait time for our vehicle to board wasnt too long, cabins are outdated but fine for a few hours travel. Toilet and shower offered in cabins. Cinema room for guests to watch a movie or you can pop upstairs to the deck n watch the ship depart. Staff were friendly
