I went there because We heard good things. I was in pain, another dentist recommended root canal. They took x-rays, nothing wrong. But the tooth is extremely sensitive to cold and hot. The dentist gave me 2 toothpaste, charged me 75 nzd and sent home. Pain got worse. A lot worse. I got an appointment for the root canal. I went there, they checked my teeth, then the dentist said -there is a dentist in Tauranga. you should go there for the root canal. I asked: don't you know how to do root canal? He said yes, but ours takes time, he is good etc. I said, do my root canal now. I am in pain, you gave me the appointment for the root canal. Do it. AND they refused to do it. They kept saying, it will take too much time, go to that guy. I don't want to go to another city and spend thousands of dollars. I took my antianxiety pills for this, and now I can't go to my doctor and ask some more. They'll think I am an addict. The dentist didn't care whether I was in pain or not, and didn't bother to treat it. You maybe cruel, and conformist, that's all right. But the why you called me to the appointment? You could have said: we don't want to fix your root canal. And I would be less said. At least I'd have a chance to go to Amber. They would never put anyone in this kind of position. They would never send someone in pain!

Ocean Dental is the best they really care about you. Patient and understanding, taking time to explain procedures, even given a snack because I missed breakfast. My dentist is wonderful

Long wait times. I was also told they wouldn't be able to write me a quote for over a year because I asked them to refund my account to work and income so I wouldn't have a debt. Its very strange
