Towbar Express

These guys are really professional. I was passing through chch and contacted these guys beforehand for a supply only price on a tow bar to save on freight. Price was good, service was excellent. My order was packed ready to collect, saving heaps of time and hassle. I got back and fitted the bar two days later, wow it’s a very well engineered bar, awesome kit included all the hardware and easy to follow instructions. Fit and finish is spot on. I know who I will deal with next time I need a bar, these guys are top of their game. A pleasure to deal with, glad I spent my money here.

Would not recommend, shocking experience. I live 1.5 hours away and was booked for an 8am all day appointment. Drove especially for the appointment and got stuck in heavy traffic, so arrived 15 minutes late. After waiting for 5 minutes at the counter to be acknowledged, they cancelled my all day appointment and said to re-book. I explained I lived in the country and hade made a special trip, but they still did not take this into consideration. 3 hours+ of my time wasted. No mention of cancellation policy when booking.No understanding. I recommend going elsewhere.Edit: booked for Tuesday 18 January. The Kia. Under my partner’s name but this was my experience. Turned away by receptionist and director. So treatment was supported by management.

Called them and had the car checked on the same day, and issue resolved the next day. A great experience.

Fast and easy. Did a really great job. Dropped the car in at 10AM and it was ready at 12. Nice to be able to remove the tongue if necessary too.

Supplied and fitted a removeable tow bar and wiring to new Ford EscapeExcellent job, quality of components looks to very good and installation very good all fastenings etc. all refitted neatly and correctly. Pricing very reasonable for quality of job. Recommended
