Fish was over cooked. Chips lacked flavour. The place was quiet but the service was slow. My waitress ended up being friendly and polite but the rest of the staff were more interested in talking to each other than service.

Took my parents inlaw from overseas to experience stone grill. They really enjoyed the quality of the rump steak and cooking it to their liking. Staff were friendly and we all enjoyed the meal and drinks!

My girlfriend and her sister recently visited this restaurant, but unfortunately, their experience was quite disappointing. They were surprised to find out that the staff was asking for ID even for soft drinks, which seemed unnecessary. Even though they were willing to change their plan and order food instead, the staff refused to serve them and rudely asked them to leave. As a result of this unpleasant encounter, we have decided not to return to this restaurant again.

Great atmosphere, great staff, along with the food and drink options available. You can even get staff to take your orders while outside, saving you the trouble of going to the bar and they'll bring out what you ordered promptly.Close to public transport options, literally around the corner, or across the road. Handy also if you've been shopping in the mall, and just want to sit back, and enjoy a few drinks and relax.

Enjoyed a great steak meal here this evening. The staff were friendly, professional, and made the experience fun and welcoming with some sharp banter. Hats off. Highly recommended :-)

Will, one of the wait staff at the Fox & Ferret saw my daughter & I taking a look at their menu outside. He welcomed us to the pub & asked if we'd like to be seated indoors or out. We opted to be seated indoors, as it was quite chilly outside.Once inside, I made a beeline straight for the table next to the fire. It was so lovely & warm sitting next to it.We ordered 2 large orange juices, a garlic loaf as an entree, a pork belly meal for me & a chicken & bacon carbonara for my daughter.The pork belly was cooked to perfection & it was so tender, that the meat just fell apart. The crackle was absolutely devine. I shared a small piece with my daughter & she said I regret not ordering that Mum." She asked if there was any more crackle & I quickly ate it & said no (what a mean Mum lol).My daughter polished off her Carbonara & said that it was really nice.I struggled to eat all of my pork belly meal - as I'd eaten far too much garlic bread for an entree. I should've known better.The wait staff here are friendly

Went there for my bday lunch, staff were friendly when we had their attention but after taking our initial food order they basically ignored us unless we went up to the bar to ask for something. They never checked if our meals were OK (2/5 weren't) or came to offer any drinks, we had to ask if they were actually doing table service to get our plates cleared and they still didn't ask about the meals despite 2 of them being barely touched. They had a $5 dessert special yet we had to get our own menus as they didn't come and offer. Lemon tart was really good, brownies were a bit average. Won't be returning for any sort of special occasion as staff barely did the minimum to look after us and couldn't have cared less

Awesome night out. If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would. Four of us ordered the Monday special (stone grill with a drink & dessert for $29) and it was fantastic. The size of the meal was perfect, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. The staff were attentive and came back to check on drinks at a good interval of time and the meals came out quickly despite it being quite busy for a Monday night. A credit to how good it was. Thanks for the good night. We’ll be back.
