Wow !! The service was truly amazing !! By far the best. Sign in was a breeze drop off was even easier and the van drove very nicely. There was a slight issue which they rectified immediately. Very very happy customer. Suggest they’re the Finest !!

It is the worse place to rent a car, the car are broken and they will still charge you even if you break down, they dont help you or compensate for anything, the car breaks down and you still liable for the cost of everything!! Never again it is the worse costumer service EVER!! DON'T HIRE FROM THIS PLACE!!!

NOT RECOMMENDED. Rented a truck from dominion rd office. Truck was horrible to drive and really dirty inside. 30minutes into a 4.5hr drive the front drivers side tyre blew and sent us across two lanes of traffic at 90kph on the motorway. If anyone was beside us we would most probably all be dead. Called them and the manager was rude and kept interrupting me on the phone. I then checked the rest of the tyres on the truck we're almost down to the wire and dry rotted. After a 2.5hr wait on the side of mway the tyre guy came and had a look at the rest of the tyres and agreed that the truck should not be on the road and was extremely dangerous. Went to speak to the manager when returning the truck then laughed at me when I told him the vehicle was unsafe and wouldn't even talk to me about getting a refund and tried blaming the place they buy there tyres from. SEE YOU IN COURT GUYS!!!

WORST RENTAL EXPERIENCEStarting with customer service , the lady at the reception was very rude while serving ,Secondly the car was filthy , cob webs all around , drink cans left from previous costumers, dusty , lost of damages inside out . Refer to the pics attached .A customer will expect to have a clean and sanitized car normally and Especially during COVID , however this branch doesn't care about it .Will never rent from them ever and even i do not recommend them. !!!

Will probably use again. Slight hitch with using non-NZ credit card. Had to contact a week after car return to complete transaction and have $650 deposit returned. Two-door Toyota Yaris (clean, ran well) cost $55 + $20 insurance per day plus $0.16/km. Convenient Mt Eden location. Friendly, helpful staff.

Didn’t get the vehicle I ordered. They claimed an extra days rental from us and added extra charges. Once they have your credit card number they take whatever money they want. AVOID!!. There are a lot more professional companies out there with much better service. Disappointed.

WORST SERVICE I EVER HAD IN NEWZEALANDPersonal request all folks: Do not rent from here, you will be caught with some additionals while returning.Firstly the customer service, very bad, don't even give ears to us especially lady at reception.Secondly: Charged 206 dollars extra other than renting cost for no reason. Asked proof they don't even bother to serve a customer. Attached pic herewith. This was charged for us saying we made that dent but which was not. Shown an old pic which someone else damaged as proof.THEY EVEN RENT THE SAME VEHICLE WITHOUT EVEN REPAIR, caught infront of us on the same day next to our neighborhood.Heartbreaking experience, won't even recommend anyone. Bad customer service from three different staff members, given the wrong van, charged more than we were originally told on the phone, could not wait to leave their office. Overall a negative experience. DO NO GO HERE!!!

We called ahead to explain we would be slightly late due to a road closure. 40 mins late and they charged another full day. An extra 125$ for 40 minutes. Once they have your bond they'll charge what they like. I have rented plenty of vehicles and it has never worked like this. Go somewhere else.

I have had dealings with Metropolitan Rentals since 1993.I have always been greeted by friendly, helpful staff. The go to rental company for trucks and vans in particular, although there is a good fleet of cars too.The longevity of this company speaks volumes in my opinion. There is limited off street parking available, talk to the customer care team and they will look after you.
