This car park highlights the ineptness of Auckland Transport. Don’t park here to get the train/bus to an event because when you get back after 10pm you’ll find your car is locked in. So don’t use public transport. Burn fuel and drive to where you need to go because AT doesn’t get how to run park-and-ride.

As parking for a major train/bus station, why does it close so early, long before the last two trains arrive from BritomartAND we'll after the last bus lines from the city? That is just silly. Also, too many reserved spaces taken to call this public parking!!

Wouldn't it be great if they kept the carpark open the same hours of the trains. Instead I came back from Eden Park to find car locked in. Fantastic.

Not sure why the council can't allow the gates to open for cars exiting after 10pm. I've been caught twice when relying on public transport which is often delayed with CRL work. The exit sensor works well in many other carparks and 10pm isn't late
