I thought this place wasn’t that bad unlike most reviews. Ordered salt pepper tofu, roast duck, sesame chicken and stir fry mushrooms and vegetables. Tofu and mushrooms/vegetables were normal as the latter was abit oily. But both the chicken and duck were really good I thought. Service can be better and it wasn’t too busy when we were there at 8pm Tuesday night.

We went into this restaurant and were initially very impressed with the speed at which our dishes came out. The food was very average, but the hygiene is what I want to warn everyone about. Our family dined there yesterday on our way to Queenstown, and we all ended up with severe food poisoning! My most terrible restaurant experience to date.

Worst chinese food I ever had. I guess since they are the only chinese restaurant they can make crappy food. Chow mein and fried rice were absolutely tasteless. Don't go there

Takeaways is always overcooked and very small portions. Te anau dairy does much nicer food, bigger portions and 3 dollars less than this terrible place

That is a really wunderful meal during my trip in NZ. I ordered sweet and sour pork which the manager recommended and dumplings, hot and sour soup and chicken fried rice. All of them were very tasty and the staff are friendly and easy to communicate. Highly recommend this restaurant.
