Soundline Audio Wellington

I went to Soundline to discuss my Audio-visual requirements for my house alteration which involved a complete change to our main living areas . Up until my visit to them, I was getting utterly confused with the IT and the wiring requirements to account for music, television, existing stereo and outdoor music capability as well as wireless connectivity for the whole house. Darrin and Hamish worked well together and came onsite and worked out a total package with options - we were able to work through the plan and it has delivered us a tidy set up which works well.They have been very accessible with their service, worked well with the builder, electrician and architect and I value the after sales service provided which included showing us to use the system and being available on the phone to help deal with any problems (which have been few). I would recommend them to anyone who is needing expertise in with a home theatre set up and am very happy with the outcome .

I was very very happy with everything Soundline did on my build project. Their advice at the outset on system design was invaluable, I was kept well up to speed with progress, they were proactive in identifying and resolving issues, and their installer was a total craftsman. I can't recommend them highly enough, and I would definitely use them again on another project.

Longtime customer and just had my Oppo BDP serviced by Soundline, the power supply went on Christmas morning :( Luckily Darrin and team were very responsive and helpful, fault was identified quickly, repaired efficiently and I was back up and running in no time. I highly recommend Soundline!

I've had the pleasure of working with Darrin and the team at Soundline for quite a few years now with various upgrades to my sound system. More recently, I had Darrin and Hamish do the home automation and A/V design for our new build. I've known the guys at Soundline for a good few years now ( initially Darrin and Charles , latterly Hamish) and feel quite comfortable in offering a few thoughts on their service.My main interest is in 2 channel music reproduction and I have a very high end reference system. Every piece has been acquired through Soundline ( excepting turntable , but Charles set that for me as well) and I have always found the guys to be particularly helpful in guiding my next move. Recently I became interested in setting up a server/DAC combination which was new to the NZ scene. Darrin set up a conference call with the Australian importer so I was able to ask as many questions as I needed to. A few years ago Charles flew me down to Christchurch so I could have the opportunity to hear a speaker I was interested in.The follow up service they offer is exemplary. I've had Darrin round on a public holiday replacing a defective tweeter on one of my speakers. Due to my complete computer illiteracy , I've needed a lot of help setting up my server /network combination. Hamish has made several visits to tweak things and it now works flawlessly.I now regard them as friends and can quite happily talk to Charles for hours about classical music. We share a fondness for Mahler ( and port !) I often pop in to chat to Darrin - he is always welcoming ( and he makes a mean flat white !)So I have no hesitation at all in recommending them ; I have done so for several work colleagues who I know are also very happy with the service they have received.Kevin O'Connor

I recently bought a new PLINIUS 880 Integrated amplifier through Soundline Wellington. I was really impressed by the customer service and communication of the staff member Mike. He was incredibly accommodating to my requests and kept me regularly updated as there was a wait while the amp was being assembled. Very impressed with the service and will look forward to purchasing more Hifi gear through Soundline in the future. Great little amp too!

Great service, above and beyond.I went in with a long list of products I wanted to try and Micheal set up a lot of different combinations for me to try.2 hours in the demo room and we could have gone longer.It was a great experience, and I walked away confident that I had the right speakers.

I've had four separate interactions with Soundline and all of them have been excellent.The first two were through work to install a multi-zone system, and then shift it when we changed locations in the building. The installer, Jules, was excellent –super tidy install and he was extremely conscious of minimising any impact in the space while he worked. Jules was also open to discussing options, to which he made several suggestions that delivered a better result. He'd easily be my go-to installer from now on.My second two interactions were in store with Darrin. I brought a couple of Monitor Audio in-ceiling speakers for surrounds at home. They were so good I got back in touch later to get another couple for a different area in the house. Both times Darrin cut me a good price and was outstanding to deal with.Great kit, great guys, no bullshit. I'll be back when I get that 'upgrade itch' for sure.

Exceptional. I've just purchased a NAD C368 Amplifier from Darrin. Could not be happier. Product is great. Darrin's consideration, expertise and customer care is second too none. He went out of his way to assist and advise me, making careful and insightful consideration of my requirements. While I was not a big spender on this occasion I can honestly say that Darrin and his team will always get my future business based solely on this one experience. Darrin knows his products, is forthright, considerate and knows how to care for his customers. Highest recommendation.
