This is a must go to restaurant! 1st day and food is divine and seems to be very authentic! The cocktail menu is amazing.Great service and friendly staff, Highly recommend! One of the best in Whangarei and fresh food!

As a pure food experience the dishes were generous and very tasty. Menu was extensive and catered for both Western and Indian cuisine. Not sure if they were short staffed but service was a little slow. Definitely go back for the food.

Don't know where to start to be honest. Service was diabolical, two servers who were more intent on folding folded menus than actually offering any form of service. We (4 of us)cleared our own dishes onto the adjacent table. Starters came out ok, prawns undercooked, glassware not removed, mains came out and we still had our starter dishes on the table, mains where put on the table, nothing cleared. Those king prawns from the starters were still looking at me when we left from the adjacent table. Wasn't offered dessert at all. Cocktails were good, we would have had more but got sick of going up to the bar. Seats ripped, bland décor, felt like I was in a hall eating off a trestle table. Rough. Food was average at best, fish over spiced and salty, dishes that should have had spice did not. An odd, odd experience. We all took turn clearing the dishes. No more than 8 tables all night. Disappointing for Whangarei.

Great genuine service and food was fantastic - 4 adults couldn't fault our meals! Highly recommend good flavorsome generous portions!

Food was really good and cocktail spot on. Prices good. Paid the bill with credit card and found afterwards that they charged a whopping 4% for the pleasure!! Had I known, I would have used my debit card. I missed seeing this on the screen and do believe that when paying, one should be told about this. It's a NZ thing and I feel it's highway robbery. Spoilt the evening for me.

Highly recommend this restaurant. We ordered the charcoal malai tikka chicken as a starter and butter chicken and shashlik paneer masala curries with rice and garlic naan bread on the side for our main. Everything was beautifully presented, well portioned, and flavorful.Will definitely be returning in the very near future.

We were well looked after, reasonably priced food and drinks. Good atmosphere which was not too loud but we had a cold breeze coming through the back door/flap. We could see some other customers freezing as well. Otherwise, we will surely return.

We were welcome by a friendly staff. We chose a drink from the selected drink list. I had a low carb beer which was a good choice. My friend ordered a espresso matinee cocktail as she usually does when we dine. She was disappointed about the taste. It wasn't what she would expected it to be.We ordered a meal. Good menu with European and Indian choices then decided a dessert which one was a traditional Indian, fried banana and a good portion of 3 flavored ice cream. Which was well enjoyed.
