Gorgeous shop full of surprises and lovely things

The most amazing lovely shop with incredible staff. They sell beautiful & unique items. Perfect for gifts! I bought from them when I lived in Christchurch & now I live in the North Island I order online. They packages come beautifully wrapped. I just love the selection they have!

Lovely store very helpful friendly staff

Very unpleasant experience. Toys filled the window and one side of the store so took my 3 yr old in thinking it was child friendly. 3 yr old playing with the wooden toys choosing what to buy, the lady with glasses working there told him don’t break them could tell by her tone we needed to leave so got him out of the store as quickly as possible trying to avoid a scene. Told the lady would be back to buy something, walked back in alone to hear her full conversation of her slagging us off to a customer saying we did nothing to stop him touching anything he broke nothing no harm done. No apology, no nothing. The customer that she was telling how terrible we are and parents these days told me not worrying and she was thinking geez my grandsons would be touching the toys also.

We came from Auckland and found this cute shop - love the display, whimsical little museum! Lovely collection of little goods :)

Probably the best shop in the world. I mean it. Need a present for anyone? Come here. You'll find lots.Alternatively, do you want quality, hand made local goods? Such as locally fired pots or locally made furniture or bowls fantastic paintings and sculptures from national treasures? Then come here.Full of great items, with at least one brilliant shop keeper.

Best place to go to buy a piece of talented Kiwi made presents or to spoil yourself ..You will never be disappointed.Be warned very addictive place!
