It's always a pleasant experience walking along the wharf, on the beach and grabbing a coffee. Hope the pier will be repaired one day soon

Nothing here anymore. Use to be a thriving place to catch up or go for walks along the jetty. Now closed for major repairs. Does not look like any repairs have started. Walking trail still accessible as is car parks. A sad sight to see now even though your still looking out to sea...

Great place to park and eat in the car while looking at the beautiful beach and landscape that is Wellington and it's surrounding suburbs. Can see a lot from here. Be even better when the wharf is fixed.

More than a carpark, it's very scenic! Catch the full glory of sunsets here, where folks lunch, dine, walk their dogs, scoot, ride their bikes and trikes (adults included), launch their boats, picnic, play, swim, fish from the wharf and catch a short, ferry ride direct into Wellington city (check the Dominion Ferry Timetable first). It's often full (especially at lunchtime) even on Sundays!

Very small carpark, people tend to park on the sides making turning around impossible. Also expect ding marks on your door! In the evening its perfect, its right next to the dog park of the beach - handy if you've got the dog.
