We have bought two of our cars here and both have lasted for a long time. They always have a great selection and the cars we got were almost like new. Our Camry had been with us for 15 years and still going strong.

We drove all the way from Auckland for a High Spec" Toyota blade. Got there and it was worn on the interior and the stereo kept cutting in and out. It would cut in on high volume and because the screen would freeze you couldn't turn it down. He didn't bring this up on his trademe post or in the emails. He tried saying that it's like a common problem. Saw a proper salesman up the road who said he's full of it. Never buy here!"

Friendly service from Jamie on a very busy Saturday. He let me look around when he was dealing with other customers. He was helpful in indicating which cars would suit my requirements and budget.

Very poor customer service. Jamie was rude and arrogant the whole time. Blatantly told us if we didn't want a car, to not waste his time as he has other people to help. We were intrested, but wasn't going to go ahead with deal if someone was going to be so disrecspecful to us.

Wont patch up small problems on cars We don't get into that sort of thing". Was told by Japan Direct that other dealers (I wont name which) are bringing in wrecks and posing them as undamaged cars. Were told another dealer were 'Paki's'. Wont show Japanese auction sheets to prove the ratings. Generally quite sly

Wow I learn alot from buying a Honda Fit Shuttle car from this place. Jamie serves me. I want to share with you what I have learned esp how to check a Japanese made Hybird car. In this case a 2015 Honda Fit Shuttle which done only 50k km so it is like new. I learn that a new hybrid battery can cost up to $14,000 to replace. But Jamie told me that in Auckland if you can get a battery shop to pool 2 used Hybird lithium batteries together to make a working 1 reconstituted Lithium battery you may only pay $2000 or there about. This is good to know.Anyway I try to get a VTNZ pre purchase assessment but the waiting period is up to 2 weeks and Jamie will not allow this long period as he needs to sell cars to make a living.Then the AA technical team said they are not doing the pre purchase assessments of cars anymore in Tauranga. Instead they suggest to get the car brand Dealer shop to test the Hybird battery and pay for the check which is about $74. A new battery shows 80% useable battery.So I phoned Honda Dealer and the Honda Staff was very useful and kind. Nothing is too much for him or her. There is a big customer waiting area with free self service coffee making.Well I flew up to Tauranga on the morning of the meeting with Jamie. He met me at the Tauranga airport on time and got the car with him.The AA team told me for a 2015 car which only done 50k km everything should near new. If the engine wearing out you can see the poor performance as the electric motors to turn the car engine will be sluggish. AA cannot do engine compression tests on the engine cylinders.I got a very good Hybird battery report from the Honda dealer electrician. About 75% of the battery is still working. Just like the Lithium batter of your smart phone is only 80% when new. AAnyway the Hybird car battery can last from 200k (6 yrs) to 300k km.(10 yrs) in its life time. I was very happy to pay up as there was also a $2500 discount as the company just wanted to move stocks. This hybird C car has not been selling as alot of older clients are suspicious of them. On fuel consumption it has 5/6 stars awarded to it.The car drives very smoothly from 0 to 120 to 140 km/HR very quickly and it is quiet too. My 5 hours drive from Tauranga back to Palmy was very enjoyable and put many bigger old fashion petrol only cars to shame. It is a pleasure and fun car to have. The 1335 c.c. engine is fast enough. I drove the car hard and fast and it consume about $45.00 of unleaded petrol which is very good for over 550 km journey.I think Japan Direct has a winner here viz the Honda Hybird Fit Shuttle! Amazing to drive and to have. All the reviews about it were good.

Was worried after reading some of these reviews on here about others experiences. However i had a stressfree day test driving the car i was interested in and was able to take it home that day. Service could be better but overall i dont feel ripped off so im happy. Thankyou for the deal.

After spending 2 days looking at cars in Auckland I came back to Tauranga to Japan Direct and brought a lovely condition dualis. Their prices we're sharp and quality was much better than what I saw in Auckland. I should of come here first.
