Rolleston Salvation Army Family Store
We’ve been to many SA shops and our Rolly one seems to be the best! You can’t expect the selection to refresh weekly, the good stuff goes fast! I also can’t complain about staff. Now I try donating here too, and they do discount or give me some staff for free. I don’t mind to pay, but I really like this freely behaviour!

Probably not the best family store I've been to as it's in the industrial area of Rolleston and the building is mostly a front office set up and then it's work space where most of the stock is. Lots and lots of crockery and glassware. There are quite a few clothes racks and some books and a very small range of electrical. Not alot of furniture either. Staff were friendly though and its probably best to keep checking in for new stock.

As others have commented, one very rude older lady volunteers here. She abused my mother (for asking why a jacket was priced at $70). I also got some nasty comments from her on a subsequent visit. She seems to work Friday/Saturday so try visiting early in the week.

A good cross section of items available.Condition and availability vary due to the nature of the business which survives on donated goods from anyone who wish to donate.Generally these should be is good to excellent condition with a lot new or as new.Prices vary but are very reasonable.The buyer is also supporting a local charity that does good work within the community.

Hidden gem. Great baby and formal dresses in various sizes. Also great crockery. Young and trendy area so items match I. Very reasonable pricing.
