Morning Calm Lodge

Was going to stay one night, Asian man who occupied me to my room was rude, arrogant, and disrespectful. I only booked for a single room i wasn't fussed 1 night 1 person single bed. But the room they'd reserved for me was like in a loft smallest room possible on the highest floor. The stairs to the room were steep, hazardous and definitely not child friendly. The house had a bad old smell that wasn't very welcoming. When I asked for part of refund or part refund due to the poor customer service, small and uninviting room and a dangerous staircase he said no way it was my own problem and was just absolutely rude after that. I paid $40 didn't get it back. Personally I'd never stay there

Not very nice and appeasing. Not what expected for the price paid. The room rented is in the attic and the steep stairway makes it difficult for older people. I would have rather stayed in the car. I am planning on loosing my payment and look for a better place.

Anyone saying this place is good is lying, I went here a with some family and we had booked a cabin we asked for an extra single mattress to put on the floor because there was 3 of us and one queen bed. They were very aware of this and said it was all good, but when we got there they claimed to have no clue about it. The rooms were dirty and so was the outside toilet that you had to share. I Ended up having to sleep on the floor then the owners had an argument with one of us after we asked to leave a night earlier as the event we were going to got canceled. The owners are very rude, definitely would not recommend. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Morning calm lodge is a beautiful place to come and stay here lots of good improvements happing here building more cabins and tidying up the place to make it look nice the staff (management/owner) lovely people they are here to help if you need them.

Morning calm Lodge is a beautiful 21 acres to stay in with trees. I like being here.it's quiet. there are nice people here . I have been here for a while and I haven't had any problems here the boss and management are lovely people and easy to get along with and very helpful if it wasnt for the boss and management we would not have a roof over heads.its nice of them to accept animals. They are improving the 21 acres to make it more comfortable for the tenants that live here .

We called and asked for early check-in a few days before but when we got there, the rooms were not ready. One had a significant smell of cigarettes. A woman who arrived just before us was also having issues, she said They've taken my money and there's no room for me." She was taken off to some half-built rooms by the owners and we never saw her again. There is a tiny creepy dog who watches everything you do.Incredibly basic facilities

It wasn't terrible, but at the same time, unless it's summer, I'm not sure I'd stay there. The pod/chalet we stayed in was warm enough once the heater was switched on. The outdoor shower was an experience, especially if you're the type to shower in the evening. Other things to note, customer service wasn't quite what I was expecting. When we arrived at the office, the lady answered didn't greet us with Hi welcome" or "How was your travel" or something basic like you would expect when checking in to a place

This is the worst place i have ever stayed in. The advertisement pics was not of the room that i got. Then sfter booking the room the owner called to say its not a twin bed it is single. I got a single room that was as wide as my wingspan. And i was sharing the accommodation with 4 other people. That was not in the advert too. Bathroom was dirty. The shower had wheelchair access but the seat for them was covered in black mould. Do not stay here unless u have no other choice.

OK place, clean, bit out of the way. Be wary of room and facility descriptions... bathroom does not mean en suite!!! Access to some rooms is pretty precarious up seriously steep stairs! Get your info more accurate so guests know what they're getting... other than that it's a good deal.

The place is a dump. To describe it as being calm and peaceful couldn't be further from the truth. P, heads and drunks, dirty cooking facilities, leaky roofs, dirty drinking. It's a dive and there nothing more to say.
