Great experience. You sit in a small single propeller plane with seating for up to 5 passengers. We had 3. The weather was good, considering it was just after the cyclone in Jan 2023. We got to White island and went round it several times for great views and photos. Then we went inland, which was a bit bumpier but still fun. Worth the expense as there is no other way to see the island now.

Great experience, the flight was smooth, and the view of the volcanos was awesome.But i didn't know about the tragedy till in the air. All I knew was that it wasn't safe to take boats there anymore.Watched the documentary.Had I known, I would not have gone. My sympathy to all the families.

Once in a lifetime experience! Joanna was an awesome pilot and guide. I was worried that my fear of heights and motion sickness would kick in but everything went smoothly and Joanna was very understanding and kind about it. Totally deserves 5 stars

We had an amazing experience flying with Jo. We got super lucky with the weather. It was clear and calm. Jo was super friendly and relaxed. We were in safe hands. A high light of our trip for sure. White Island was stunning.

5 Stars aren't enough! I had the best time for my birthday flight, it ended up being a private experience with just my partner and me after a very gracious rescheduling. Joanna was super friendly and a great pilot- so skilled at keeping us in steady position to closely see the island. Highly recommend it!

100/10!!! Thank you so much Jo for an unforgettable experience. A fantastic pilot who makes you feel totally at ease, and very easy going. Whakaari was incredible to see up close, and the views all round were fantastic! Best day ever!!!!
