A nice little rest spot with ocean views.Only 3 freedom camping spaces. It was surprisingly quiet considering it’s next to the road. Very close walk to main centre.

So this place is pretty well located HOWEVER only the THREE spaces on the far side of the sign are for campervans only. This was an easy mistake to make and plenty of vans were parked on the other side. Long story short we were woken up at 2330 (middle of the night given that Kiwi bedtime is 1900) by the security guard who helpfully did take us to a place we could camp which was actually far more scenic than this car park.
