I've always had top notch service fro the Team at Ferntech. Fast shipping, great communication. I had a drone serviced under warranty and no problems there either. Would recommend Ferntech for all of your DJI purchases. Can't say enough about them. I also have no affiliation with them other than being a very satisfied customer!

Very bad communication and support.I purchased DJI Phantom 3 Standard and we received it on the 27th August 2015.It never worked correctly from the day we received it, the drone made a loud screeching noise which it isn't supposed to do.Chris one of the company's employees told us to make a video of the issues and send the video to them, so we did.After seeing the video Chris told us they all tend to do the same thing and it's normal to experience that noise, this information turned out to be incorrect to say the least.We have been in contact with Ferntech NZ Ltd many times over the last 3 months trying to get the issues with the drone resolved.But when the company would not accept the drone has any issues and they just keep making excuses it's not easy to do.It reached the point where I thought enough was enough and I sent the drone back and requested a full refund under consumer rights act ''not fit for purpose''But instead of Ferntech NZ abiding by consumer rights act and making a full refund they sent a replacement drone without my knowledge or my consent.I have now sent this replacement drone back to Ferntech NZ and as yet they have not had the decency to acknowledge the fact that they have received it.

Worst consumer experience I've ever had.Let me preempt misunderstanding by saying DJI makes great products, but you should buy anywhere else but here.I am personally down $450 and dealing with the Christchurch Police’s fraud division.-------My DJI Osmo pocket was recalled for having a battery fault, I was told there was a chance of an exploding battery when charging similar to the Samsung note 9".Because I needed the camera to film a wedding I arranged to take it into the Christchurch store

Hi, i have been dealing with Ferntech NZ for some time now, I bought my Osmo and now my Inspire 1 Pro with the X5 Camera and I would like to let you know that i have had nothing but total satisfaction.And i am talking about delivery times that are the fastest i have experienced in any industry.Regarding Tech Knowledge, hands down one of if not the best, they don't have to pick the product box up and read the product description like ive had other retail staff at other retail companies do in front of me, they already know what their products do, and that's simply because they have a passion for the Industry and the Products they Sell, that's Why they are so good.They know What they Sell, What it does and can't do, How to use it and importantly Why we use a certain product. I would like to sincerely thank the team at Ferntech for lending us a craft while our Inspire 1 Prop was being fixed by DJI in China under warranty. Not only did Ferntech provide a replacement craft on a rush basis, they bent over BACKWARDS to ensure our commercial operations were not interrupted. Top notch support that DJI could learn a lot from!

NO LONGER AT THIS ADDRESS OR IN CHRISTCHURCH.Ferntech is now at there Auckland address.Shame as I had good dealings with this company when they were still in Christchurch but you can still deal with there Auckland office online and support them there.

Don't buy anything there. For some reason all DJI drones are extremely overpriced in NZ. After I lost my original drone on a second day of my vacation I went to buy replacement from Ferntech. Mavic Air was not only heavily overpriced in comparison to other countries, but also it was impossible to return it after few days. 14-day and 7-day return policy doesn't exist in NZ. I don't recommend to buy anything there unless you have no other choice like me.

Ferntech are the greatest, got my Mavic Pro from them and were awesome in keeping me informed as to the status of my combo pack even though there was an issue with supply and promises made by DJI. Used their layby facility but paid off well before the layby expiration. You guys rock and definitely doing more business with you.

I recently crashed my drone into a building and had completely ruined the Gimbal and Camera on it, leaving me rather devastated and with a knot in my stomach. I got in touch with Ferntech on the Monday and spoke to Ashton who answered all my queries and talked me through the process. That same day I sent the drone from Wellington to Christchurch, with it arriving on Tuesday. Within two days they had provided me with a quote, got my gimbal and camera all fixed and had it sent back to me, and in the interim Chris answered all my queries via email very promptly and in detail giving me more comfort. It's now Friday and my drone is back with me in Wellington, all fixed up and as good as new, and as soon as this storm buggers off it'll be back in the air. Thanks Ferntech NZ...drone lifesavers!! I purchased a Mavic drone and Crystalsky off Ferntech and couldn't be happier, firstly I would like to point out that Ferntech is only an importer of these products and not responsible for DJI's poor handling of the products they release e.g. says Mavic is compatible with Crystalsky yet there is no plate included for the mounting bracket and worse there is no charger cable included with the purchase of the charging hub thats compatible with any of the Mavic charging accessories.Now let me say this, I've been dealing with Ian from the Christchurch store and he's gone out of his way to rectify DJI's cockup and even supplied a temporary fix at Ferntech's cost so I could keep my clients happy by keeping to my schedule and capturing the content my clients required.Thank you Ian and Ferntech for going out of your way to make sure I could keep shooting even though this is not your fault.I would highly recommend this company to anyone who's thinking of purchasing a drone, outstanding service, well done Ferntech, very happy customer.
