After viewing product range at another branch for my new home I contacted Wardrobe World Bay of Plenty as they were my area agent. My first contact was fine, however from then on I was made to feel like an inconvenience. I was sent a deposit request prior to my site visit and told when I queried that this was standard practice (not what website says). I refused to pay it, but still received my site visit which was completed by the owner. She was rude and off hand in my opinion and the opinion of other trades on site at the time. It was after that visit that I decided to not proceed. It was not the product or price that I based this decision on, but purely attitude. I sent an email thanking them for their time, but that I would not be proceeding further. As a business owner myself I could not believe the unprofessional and rude email I received back stating that because of time wasters, that was why they asked for deposits prior to site visits. I'm happy to say that the company I phoned and who supplied the wardrobes and linen cupboard storage systems for my new build were the complete opposite in all respects and I'm very happy and know that I made the right decision in not proceeding with this company. If this form allowed I would have rated negative stars.
