Cool spot need to cross a creek to get to the other side. Take a bag if you can lots of plastics washing up in this area along the high tide mark's.

More parking space than the other carpark since the north carpark had a major slip.

Prone to car break ins. Rough road.

A good place to stop off for access to the beach there is a single toilet at the carpark and the beach is not to far away.

Although it a bit more of a hike compared to northern carpark. Which is all but on beach. For larger vehicles and trailers there more room to turn around. And with flatter road in it not as rough on vehicles, the toilet not quite as flash as northern carpark one, but I always found it to b clean. As get to beach which takes bout 4min on hot sand, in summer. Take care of dog paws, I take water container and wet sand for dogs.but as I started saying, once get to beach, there a stream to cross. Ideal fill that water container for return trip. But it ideal place for little ones to paddle in. It can b cold crossing in middle winter with a early start... but the beauty u will see makes it all worth while. I suggest heading south...
