We have been taking our pets to Dr Singh for many years now. He and his team have always been very helpful and focused on our pets recovery and best course of action. Can be blunt but always honest and also very reasonably priced.

I took my very loved cat there today for a cat bite, clinic is a little dirty and vet is a little gruff however I feel he knows his stuff and gave me really good guidance in aftercare. My cat is scared of strangers but he was ok with the vet today which says a lot really

Been going to Western Vets/Dr Singh with our dog for the last 6y. We’re very very happy with the care of our dog. Dr Singh is honest, if blunt and our impression is that he cares about the animals more than he cares about us. That’s probably a good thing in a vet. It’s not a flash, shiny new practice, it’s a working animal hospital. The clinical care is excellent.Highly recommend.

Western Vets are amazing with our loved pets, Great service, very caring and affordable too. My Fur Baby doesnt mind the trips to visit Dr Singh and seems to know that he gets the right treatment, It is also great that you can be with your pet when being looked over. Highly recommended,

We have been clients of Harcharan and his team for several years. In this time he has provided excellent care to our elderly dog during the later stages of his life and more recently to our new puppy. Our experience has been that Harcharan and the vet nurses are highly professional, thoughtful, thorough and caring. Harcharan responds well to relevant questions when we have needed more information. The more prepared you are in terms of what you want to learn from the visit, the better. We have always found his charges reasonable and we have no hesitation in highly recommending Harcharan and his team.

Dr Singh and the team, especially the vet nurse Chrissy have always provided the best care and professional advice for my rescue kitten. They are the go to when you want to feel reassured about your cat's health if it's your first time raising one. thanks a million team.

10 years later I still rate this veterinary clinic and won’t take my pets anywhere else. No nonsense and no unnecessary procedures - a vet in it for the love of animals and their well-being rather than clicking tickets. You simply can’t find anyone as knowledgeable as Harcharan. Thank you Western Veterinary - it’s ALWAYS worth the travel.One of our dogs is severely epileptic and is still alive at the age of 10 with no adverse effects. He stopped having seizures over 3 years ago and honestly, he wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for Harcharan’s love, care, dedication and guidance in educating us on the condition too. No mountain is too high for Harcharan and his team.

Excellent Sunday service for our cat Greg. Lovely vet and vet nurse who handled our fiesty cat after she was fighting last night. First time and we will definitely go back there

Disgusting Service!!! We have owned and spent money on our dogs for years and have never experienced this type of false accusation with no evidence before! We always try and support local businesses so decided to take our 2nd puppy that we paid $2000 for his microchip and 2nd vax to avi dale vets, he had a sprained foot that we already spoke to another vet about who advised us to let him recover. This Avondale vet warns us that she will report us if we don’t get him x-rayed in a week but then she decides to call SPCA straight away when my daughter leaves and report us for neglect and also accuses us for not feeding our puppy who she decided was underweight. She did this with no physical evidence or previous history of animal neglect or facts, SPCA turns up at our house to see our other healthy beautiful german shepherd and our puppy and advises that they don’t have any issue with us.We took him to another vet today who refused to X-ray our puppy because he doesn’t need it. I wonder if Avondale Vets is so desperate to increase their sales quota that they use scare tactics for their overpriced service. I also wonder if she reported us because we were a brown coloured family?? Go to Mangere Vets instead - better service and pricing!! Thanks Avondale Vets for wasting everyone’s time!!!
