Otaki River Trail
This trail is great for walking (with or without a dog) and cycling. The southern side of the river trail doesn’t go all the way to the river mouth due to the last portion being private land. The northern side goes all the way down to the river mouth. The trails are well maintained gravel and there are lots of access points to the river. Crossing the river is only possible via the highway bridge unless you like swimming in fast flowing water.
