Loved the swimming but was shocked to see a drain pipe going straight into the beautiful estuary, come on whangarei district council, I thought I was a wildlife refuge, thats not a very nice refuge if drain water is going straight into the beautiful estuary. Once was a beautiful swimming spot, now no locals go there cause of the pipe going into the water.
