LifeSwitch

Moving cities and needing to connect into a new Church community can be pretty daunting, but LifeSwitch made it a breeze for me. They were welcoming, caring, and I've called LS home for the past 2-3 years. There are plenty of opportunities to serve and build connection with others. The teaching is biblically sound, practical, and I love how much mahi this church does for the families, rangatahi and the wider Hutt community.

Lifeswitch are the model of how a church should operate. They provide support wherever needed. It feels like family the moment you walk in the door. Bible based teaching, judgement free, always ready to listen with Christ at the centre of every decision.

LifeSwitch was our home church for around five years until we moved overseas. The sermons are always full of biblical-wisdom. Their Sunday format is awesome (for the kids too!), and the facilities are very nice, which makes up for the out-of-the-way factor. There were loads of opportunities to get to know other people if you’re prepared to turn up and put yourself out there. Every church is made up of people, and no people are perfect, but don’t let that hold you back from making new deep and meaningful connections who will become a part of your support network. At LifeSwitch the leadership is humble and regularly preach us having God’s grace for one another as well as how can we better serve one another through ALL seasons of life. It’s possible to make suggestions there that do receive consideration, although like anywhere, that doesn’t necessarily result in change or what you’ve suggested. I think that’s ok when you’re listened to and communicated with about decisions. Major decisions were always communicated to the whole church membership when we were there. We miss our LifeSwitch family, but we also pray that if that’s where the Holy Spirit’s calling you to be, you’ll take a leap of faith and trust it’s worth turning up.

Love lifeswitch, we have been part of the community/family for 11 years. So friendly and a bonus is they have their own cafe which runs after the service. If you have children this is the place for them.

A great place to meet, build relationship and embark on experiencing life and creating fond memories with others. Also a great place to connect with Jesus and a community of his followers.

Family friendly church with very welcoming people who explain the church's beliefs and provide a tour of the building and a rundown of church service times. Drinks and biscuits are available before and between services and very affordable and tasty lunches are provided. The worship team is tremendous and the messages are delivered in an easily comprehended way with humour. A challenge issued each week to be a better version of yourself within society. A wonderful, welcoming, amiable church to learn and grow in faith with like-minded individuals.

LifeSwitch is an amazing church, and has been like a second home since 2019. The community here is like family, and I can't think of any place I've felt more welcome.
