Ohariu Farm Weddings & Events

We feel we dont have sufficient words to express how amazing Zena and Nick are! From first meeting with Nick at our viewing of Ohariu Farm we knew we'd found the perfect venue and the perfect people to entrust with our wedding. From start to finish Zena's attention to detail and sense of humour made planning our day relaxed and fun! On the day, everything went perfectly, nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were incredible (the wonderful duty manager even came into the bathroom to sponge marks off my train) and our guests all said the food was next level awesome. Many of our guests have said it was the best wedding theyve been to with some saying they wish theyd had their own wedding there. Zena, Nick and team you guys are the best and all so much fun! Thanks for ensuring our day was perfect and perfectly us!

Absolutely horrible venue, very disorganized with no back up plan advised if weather isnt fine, luckily the sun shined, unfortunately one guest had been sick up coming to the big day and the owner had him and his partner thrown out because he was sick after eating the food they prepared which had set his stomach off without hearing that guests explanation, or trying to reason, 100% would not recommend for any event ever!! Owners name shuld be Karen if its not already.

We love photographing out at Ohariu Farm! Zena is always so helpful, we know what to expect and their staff are all on board too. Plus they feed vendors incredibly well which we are so grateful for after working a 10 hour day.

This has got to be the most beautiful place to hold a wedding.Absolutely beautiful.The reception area is lovely.Wether it's a wedding, renewing those vows.You will love it .

An absolutely wonderful venue with amazing owners and staff. Nick and Zena were a breeze to work with and the staff on the day were super friendly and efficient. The venue is stunning, and we were blessed to have a perfect summer's day to complement the scenery. Our guests were blown away and the photos look amazing. We were privileged to have our pop up wedding here and I would not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone. Thanks so much everyone for a perfect day!

Awesome place, beautiful scenery, quiet, lots to do, target shooting, clay pigeon shooting, some golf teeing, tasty lunch. Very friendly staff. Plenty of parking

Went on a mystery tour and ended up Ohariu Farm, amazing, really enjoyed my evening, very attentive staff, we had roast turkey with all the trimmings, and a dance floor for after dinner entertainment would definitely go again, well worth 5 Stars, so pleased I discovered this place, highly recommended.

What a great venue for a conference! Hidden in the valley but a short drive from Wellington, the catering team was excellent, even with allergies. Mojo coffee was the cherry on top, and the AV team was most competent. If there was anything to improve, it would be the limited number of bathrooms. Overall, gladly recommended.
