What an awesome place for adults and kids alike. Interactive and very informative. My grandchildren loved it, what a gem, we spent 3hours there and they did not want to leave. Best part for me was the 'space trip' seeing earth from out of space, and all the other planets was incredible. The experience was so real! Highly recommended. We will be back!

A really informative place and spent way longer in there than expected!Developed and run by a huge space enthusiast would recommend to anyone whether interested in space or not as you’ll not be disappointed with everything you see and learn! Really enjoyed the Lego too!

Space Center - located just outside the skirts of Te Awamutu, Kihikihi. The kids have been here before a couple times. They chose this spot over going to the park. The Space Centre brings an vary knowledge of space, rockets, general facts etc. It is complied with virtually reality head sets - which the kids enjoyed and a wonderful guide known as Dave.

A great place to learn about space. So many awesome interactive activities for all ages. Such a passionate guy who runs the place, the kids loved completing activities to get their cadets badges. What an awesome place would 100% recommend

A must-visit for curious minds. Dave has done an incredible job setting up this centre which caters for all ages. I was left spellbound by the experience, felt very welcomed by incredibly knowledgeable Dave. The centre is very intellegently developed by making it very interactive (kids will love it) and by paying attention to the minutest of details. It is amazing how much knowledge the place offers in a deceivingly small place. We (2 adults) ended up spending 4 hours there and eventually left because we were too hungry, but I could spend days there reading and learning about space history and science.

The Te Awamutu Space Centre is amazing - informative, interactive and loads of fun. It looks unassuming on the outside, but there is so much packed into it that you can spend hours there and always have more to do and explore. It is very well put together and an absolute treat for all ages - well worth a visit! We spent 2 hours there and could easily have stayed for longer.

The day prior, seeing the reviews kind off freaked me out a bit since I am such an introvert. Going in , it actually felt quite welcoming. I was skeptical on how kids could spend hours in here, I now know why. This place has a lot of interactive activities. The work sheets start off easy, but man it gets difficult, you need to interact! but do not require you to talk at all as the answers are in visible form all over the place.Getting the badge is a great incentive (souvenir) for completing the worksheet.Overall, do not be scared of going to visit this place, but it would help to make an online booking first.

Took my little brothers and the 3 of us had the best time! They loved all the computer games and working towards getting their astronaut wings. The Lego exhibit was amazing and there is so much information packed into such a small space. Dave was so sweet and even took us out to use sun viewers and set up the VR for us
