Fast service, but now I understand why. They burnt the life out of our meals. Smelt and tasted like burnt popcorn. Not to mention the huge amount of black oil dripping from the noodles. Disgusting, won't be back.

Ming Wah has very friendly and helpful staff.With relative pricing and excellent tasting food they are definitely a place to visit in Ashburton.I recommend any of the noddle dishes but all are up the standard for what you would expect from your average takeaway place.I will most definitely be backThank you

What a gem! Food is hot and portions are good. The reason for the 4 stars is that the sweet and sour is not sweet and sour-ey" enough. They were pretty busy though so I put it down to that but otherwise we'll be back"

My wife made a large order for pick up at 1900 the food was fresh out of the wok dead on time without a second to spear! Amazing fresh taste and very humble and welcoming cooks and staff definitely one of the best Chinese takeaways we have had in a long time!!

I’ve been coming here for at least 20 years that I can remember (and probably many more when I was an even littler kid! The owners are the friendliest people and even though I live 2 hours away and only get to stop in infrequently (2-3 times a year) they still remember me!Best Chinese hands down. You won’t regret it! Favourite dish: sliced steak with veges (don’t forget a pottle of fried noodles!).If Ming Wah want to move to Oamaru, that would be greatly appreciated!
