I had a pair of old, but relatively unworn Raichle (now Mammut) hiking boots. The midsole had almost completely dissolved and the Vibram outer sole was falling off from the rest of the boot. The uppers were still in great condition though.Shane (or rather John) did a fantastic job of replacing the entire bottom of the boot. They look like new, albeit not in the same style as the original. Very happy with them and looking forward to giving them a good workout. Another plus is that a perfectly serviceable pair of boots were kept out of landfill.

Shane was honest from the start. He initially advised to me to buy a new set of birks but I changed my mind due to the sentimental value of my shoes. Shane got the cork sole and leather straps repaired, vanished and looking like new again. Very quick turnaround service of 5 days from Hamilton, NZ. Very prompt communication. I will definitely recommend him to anyone wanting their birks repaired

Yea, fair call there Shane. You guys certainly don’t miss a beat in customer service or service provision. For me, it wasn’t 5* because of the parking. Now there’s not much you can do about that, & perhaps it says a lot about how lazy we have become that a 400m walk costs ya a star, and perhaps it should have been 4 1/2 stars but I don’t know how to do half stars on a google review. Thanks for asking.

I have sent my boots back to an official RM Williams repairer in the past with good results - but I would happily give my business to Shane moving forward.

I had my heel and front soles replaced on my Timberland boots that I’ve owned for 7 years and I found Shane via facebook. It was so easy to just pay for the repair on the website and then courier them and they came back in a beautiful repaired condition all polished after just a few days! I am 100% satisfied!
