Our fur babies love coming here. We have been customers for about 3 years now. No matter how busy they are the girls always have time to stop for pats and a chat about how our babies are doing or to offer advice if needed. Genuine love and care is given to each animal that comes in. We rescued a boxer a couple of months ago and he was underweight we took on advice from pet essentials after a detailed discussion re pros and cons on dry food vs raw and brands etc.....and as you can see from pic below he is starting to fill out.

Very distressing to see a giant Pleco stuck in a tank less than 50L when they require 200L plus.The tank is ridled with black beard algae and is overstocked with bleeding heart tetras, a large glass catfish and many other fish. This is not acceptable for a business that specialized in animal care. I would like to ask to regome the pleco with me as the life you are giving it is cruel and horribly distressing for the fish.Please get in touch

Best pet store in town, such lovely, friendly and knowledgable staff, they always know who I am and keep me sorted so my pets stay healthy. Amazing range of raw food and also treats and toys, everything you need! I highly recommend :)

Took my sister's dog for a self help wash and dry and conditioner. Very friendly and helpful staff. So easy to manage your dig yourself, as the dog is in a cubicle. Jet, the Labrador, was given his treat afterwards too. Fantastic idea I have never seen this before in SA
