Have had dinner twice here. I consider this to be the stand out eating venue in Rotorua. The Black & White theme and presentation is excellent. The reception and table service given by (Aria?) Very professional. The food was most enjoyable. Making both the venue and food definitly a 5 star value for money.

Second time here. Food was better than the first. But service from the duty manager was terrible. She was a waitress last time we came here and how she got promoted is beyond us. Lack of people skills, poor handling of situations, she is far from what you would like to receive service from at a 5 star" restaurant and hotel. The young girl working there was lovely and warm. Wish her all the best. The food was tasty

Disappointing! We booked in for breakfast with quite unenthusiastic reception from staff. The eggs Bennie was good but granola was stale. Coffee for wife and I was bitter. The continental breakfast choices were not great. The table we were offered had food crumbs on it so we sat next door to it and that table was left dirty the whole time we were there.Will never return!

Went here for dinner with some friends. The drinks, starters and desserts were impeccable. For the mains, the pork was slightly tough but the chicken and fish were delightful - well portioned and the flavors complemented each other perfectly. Shout out to Gretchen for her fantastic service and an all around lovely meal.

Had a lovely girls early Christmas lunch last Wednesday. A glass of bubbly, dipping breads, choice of 4 mains, dessert, coffee and Xmas pies, all for $50. Always a good experience.

This Restaurant does not deserve any rating. I'm not one to give reviews but I'm forced to write this review so people can save their buck and probably find a better place to eat out in Rotorua. I ordered a Dry Martini which was basically water with a hint of gin/vodka. Entrée and Mains were appalling with no taste or seasoning and lack of effort for the price they charge in the name of a fine dining restaurant. Pics in the review are of my mains - Venison loin with a blob of potato mash and boiled veges with no seasoning at all and My wife's Entrée - Scallops, which was basically a plate full of boiled scallops with Baileys sauce again with no seasoning or flavour. Really disappointed with this place not recommended for sure.

We only tried breakfast so this review can’t count for other meal times, but breakfast was great! We got a deal on Book Me which made breakfast 40% off, but it would have been worth it at full price too. The music and temperature were good, food came quickly and was very tasty, and the staff were friendly.

Fabulous food and wine in a lovely relaxing yet sophisticated venue. The restaurant team were attentive and knowledgeable. The sticky date pudding was the best I’ve ever had!

The staff were super helpful to have re-arranged our reservation. We had to shorten our degustation time due to tight travelling schedules and they were very understanding. Food was delicious and I love their vegetarian option. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted and we thoroughly enjoy our dining experience ---until the main and dessert. Would be nicer if ravioli could be kept in a smaller size instead of 5 x 2 inches slab, and more variety of petite details would take off the heaviness of a big dessert. Perhaps a matter of balancing quality vs quantity?

We came for the Pre-christmas dinner and really enjoyed the lamb and the turkey. The dinner was lovely and very festive! The sides complimented the meals well.
