Staff are extremely rude. I saw a book that I liked and couldn’t reach, asked staff member to get it and then she says “oh my nephew will like this, I’ll keep this one “. This place also throws out hundreds of books per week because a rip or name is written in it. Donate them to somewhere that will use them, don’t throw into landfill. For a company that “cares for the community” they don’t practice what they preach.

A large enough store. Not too cluttered. Not a lot in it to choose from. Good layout.Parking onsite - about 8 bays and a disabled parking bay. No stairs, automatic doors - easy for people with difficulties.

Although it is not too big, this store is centrally located. I found their collections to be relatively limited if compared to another similar store in this area. However, it is clean and appears to be well maintained. Prices are okay but are relatively expensive for some items. See photos for details.

Parking can be difficult. Also some items are way over priced, I think a lot of salvation armies around Christchurch are getting very greedy. I know it's a charitable organisation, but at $5 per Christmas decoration, I might as well go to farmers and buy new.

Last Friday I went in store and found exactly what I wanted an electric lazy boy chair which was for my daughter in law who has just had a baby. Spoke with the manager and agreed on a price $200 gave them my details and when it had been tag and tested they said they would call me. Today Tuesday i called in as i hadn't heard from them. Only to find their delivery driver had sold the chair for $60 to someone else. The manager did nothing. This sucks and this man lost that store $140. Disgusted.
