Very friendly owners. Really chill camping ground experience overall.

We enjoyed our stay here due to the peace and quiet and the birdlife around the lake. Also there were plenty of mature trees surrounding the camp. Bathrooms were cleaned often and hot water in showers easy to use. Because the Camp welcomes some larger groups there was a very large industrial kitchen on one side with dinning room attached. But for smaller families and couples a smaller and more homely kitchen was available on the other side. I preferred this. It was well equipped with electric jug, microwave, cups, utensils and pots and pans, toaster, stove etc. Nearby free herbs were available for cooking. Camp managers were very friendly and helpful. We hired a kayak to explore around the lake and found an excellent track through the forrest to enjoy a walk. Also good for cycling.

Stayed here one night on a powered site.The location is gorgeous over looking the lake. The grounds have been kept very well with lots of lovely plants.Not many bugs around despite being right next to the lake.The amenities are basic and need updating, but this is reflected in the very good price. (Eg shower head very low, no hairdryer)It was quiet when we were there, not sure there are enough toilets/showers if it was very busy.Really friendly owner. Would stay again.

Great spot for the family, kids loved it. Worth taking mountain bikes with a track right next door. Owners were really nice.

This is the place to stay. Short drive to town, amazing scenery, friendly neighbours, great activities, FREE Herbs, fully equipped kitchen, FREE hot showers with amazing pressure. If you're looking for a great place to stay for a fair price, look no further.

Lovely camping ground, with lots of bird life seen and heard, the mountain bike trails were great for walking the dog, great walking and views of the lake . Very peaceful and we had a lovely Xmas day there. Many thanks, Jackie and Darryl.

So happy we found this gem. We just stopped in for the night on our way through but would stay longer if we could. Great location out of town away from noisy roads The facilities are excellent and the owners are lovely.

Awesome place to stay super chill owners, gave you your privacy or you could go up to the main kitchen and have some beers with them! Awesome acess to the lake and kiyaking allows all campers tent included! Will definitely stay here again in the future!
