Limiting the playing area of the kids by using blue lines to keep kids 30 centimetres off the ground. The playground equipment that is very dangerous goes higher than the actual trees. Very dissatisfied.

This school has a major administration problem, from the wishy-washy good time guy headmaster to the PTA who's more interested in pageantry than good education.The whole curriculum lacks consistency and there are definitely a few teachers who are grossly unqualified or lack reasonable teaching manners. That said, there are definitely a number of teachers who are amazing, but one bad egg can spoil any good recipe.There is definitely a mismanaging of school funds as well, take the redesign of the school's logo for example. All that money to hire a design firm, change stationary, signs, websites, uniforms for an ego project.Another problem is the headmaster clearly gave the boys at the school more opportunities. This ranged from sports to simple tasks around the school.The last issue is about bullying, the school is lacking a comprehensive and firm stance on this matter. This even includes a teacher who has been know to be verbally abusive to the students in her classroom.

That school is amazing even though i didnt stay there for a long time i had many memories from that school... I love you my classmates and friends!

I'd give Parnell District School (PDS) 2.5 stars if it was an option. The first year was good and then, unfortunately, things went a bit downhill for us from there. The teachers did their best however, some of the children were disrespectful and mean to my daughter. She's now left and discovered a more caring and supportive environment at her new school.The fact that PDS is a decile 9 school with some parents working long hours (to supposedly pay high mortgages) and therefore not spend quality time with their children, probably doesn't help behaviours.I was pleased to see the board take the 2015 ERO report concerns seriously and make leadership changes. Hopefully, things will continue to improve for PDS under the new leadership, as this school has heaps of potential.

Our grandson has been going to this school since 2018 and he loves it here.

Best school ever, fun and more outdoor activities

My son attended Parnell from Year 0 to Year 3. In the beginning it was lovely but from Year 2 on, it was awful. He was subjected to bullying that wasn’t remedied by teachers or management at any stage. The receptionists were rude, truly insufferable individuals (except Paul who was lovely). The PTA seemed to consist of cliquey boozers who were more of a pretentious social group of Audi moms who probably needed to merge with the local Narcotics Anonymous. Best decision pulling out of there.

Attended the school gala, good to watch my great-niece singing
