Lots of geese that crowd around if you bring a picnic lunch. Our car filled with bugs as soon as the doors were opened.Playground area is full of equipment for the kids and the pond is cool to look at.

A lovely little park to visit. Great arboretum. Great playground. Lake with a variety of waterfowl.

They had a Glow Festival on there. Is was great. Lots of food trucks. But it is only once a year. Park is really nice and good clean toilets. Nice place to stop when travelling

Nice park and the new basketball court is nice! The pond is nice to walk around and with the plains muesum next door it's always fun to go and have a look

The Ashburton Glow in the Park is a neat event, with artistic light features throughout the Tinwald domain on Kings Birthday weekend. Large food truck area and live music. There were drum activated light displays in trees, a set of glowing sealife displays and a planetary display laid out like the solar system on a lawn. Normally the domain has a small lake, a model ride on railway and the Plains Village historical museum of trains, the RDR and other colonial history.

A really nice place to visit on a sunny day. There is a small lake with lots of ducks, a swimming pool( which might not be open most of time haha), golf course and 3 tennis courts( one of them is in pretty bad shape but other two are good) and a train museum, which is really cool. A must visit if you want an old school feel. There is a walking/running track around the lake if you are into that plus there is a small playground for kids.
