August & Vine Photography

We met Sam through Sheryl of Olivio~nor. Our first meeting was at the lovely venue, where she put us at ease with her down-to-earth and chill personality. We loved how easy it was to speak to Sam. We’ve always been self-conscious but she made us feel confident during our wedding day and she asked us to pose in a way that made us feel natural and look beautiful. The whole portrait session was really wonderful and intimate. She also delivered the photos to us quickly - they were stunning, filled with that soft, natural light. We received so many compliments for our photos from our friends and family. We would totally recommend Sam of August and Vine!

We had the pleasure of having Sam capture our intimate elopement! From the first time we spoke over zoom we (my husband and I) felt instantly comfortable. Sam really an effort to get to know us as a couple, our story, what made us, us and what we wanted to remember about our day. Our photos are perfect! I couldn’t rate her highly enough! She communicated incredibly well with us throughout the process and had our photos edited and ready for viewing so quickly. We can’t wait to use Sam again for any future photography!

Could not have imagined having anyone else capture our big day.From our very first coffee date, Sam felt like a long- lost friend and we had absolute faith in her to understand us and reflect that in the photos she took.We were not disappointed, as she summed up our day perfectly and managed to capture all the intimate, unnoticed moments and everything in between.She went above and beyond and was committed to the cause, be it standing in the rain for the majority of our group/ couple photos, to braving the downpours to make it home.How she managed to be so calm, collected and quick- we’ll never know!Our photos have been admired by many and complimented by all and choosing her was the best decision we made (apart from getting married!).

Sam is an amazing photographer and I loved having her capture our wedding. She took the time to get to know both my husband and I and really listened to the kind of images we hoped for. She was both directive (which I really wanted) but also captured the beauty of us being us using her magic eye. You can tell she really cares about what she does and we both felt so special in our interactions with Sam. I would book Sam in a heartbeat to capture our precious life moments and I am in love with the photos she has given us! Thank you Sam!

We’re incredibly happy with the photos that Sam took of us for our Maternity shoot. We both felt very comfortable, she was incredibly patient, as were both a bit camera shy, and I have been so in love with the end result. From the first time I met Sam I knew she was the one I wanted to do our wedding photography.I had seen her work and already loved her style.Sam asked the right questions and was keen to get a clear picture of what we wanted as well as our personal story.On our wedding day it was cold and poured all day. This really limited our outdoor photo opportunities as the wedding was in marquee in a rural setting. Despite this and needing umbrellas, Sam cheerfully carried on and got some amazing shots.We were so disappointed with the unseasonal weather but when we saw our photos we were so happy with what Sam had achieved for us.
