Great experience. Karo was really nice and helped make the experience enjoyable for everyone. Loved being able to interact with the horses. The landscape was beautiful. Came at the right time of year.

Golden Hills Horse Treks
It was an amazing and memorable experience for my partner and me. It was our first time horse riding and Karo and Jasmine were super helpful in guiding us throughout. Highly recommend going for this horse trekking experience!

Golden Hills Horse Treks
This horse riding experience was great, our host Karo was so lovely, it was so beautiful to learn some of the horses we were lucky enough to ride were rescues. The trek itself was absolutely stunning, we had a group of varying levels of experience and Karo was kind enough to let us ride at our level on the horses. I 110% recommend, definitely a highlight of my trip to New Zealand!!

So glad we did this horse ride. Karo was lovely and very familiar with local region. It was a very private tour with just my husband and I and tailored to our abilities. Not like usual commercial trail rides. Also best value, similar rides about twice as expensive in the region. Definitely would recommend for anyone in the region.

Fantastic sights and scenery. Treks by orchards. Karo was an amazing guide and so enjoyed her stories and company. A must do when you visit Cromwell.

3 friends and I went on the 2 hour ride and it was absolutely amazing. Karo is amazing and the horses are so well loved! The ride was spectacular, with gorgeous views and plenty of photo opportunities. Karo catered to our differing abilities and let those who were experienced do a little bit extra, which was great. Highly recommend booking with Golden Hills!!

Highly recommend a ride with the lovely Karo!! Such a fun and relaxing ride, goes whatever pace you feel comfortable with, stunner views of Cromwell and great horses. Was great to get away from the crowds and have an easy going hack through the hills :)
