Friendly, helpful knowledgeable manager. Good value for money and will cut bacon to required thickness. You have to be there before 3pm on a Thursday or Friday for this service.

Called to get price for schnitzel meat and was told $16.99 per kg, an hour later when I went to get it was $20.99 per kg, still alot cheaper than other places and lovely meat

Got some really good brisket and a couple of pork shoulders, but they also have really good St Louis ribs. Nice staff too

My local butcher...very good prices..very good cuts of meat,delicious marinades and there homemade bacon bones are the meatyest and best in Auckland!!always good customer service,nice wide range of meat choices,more then countdown and pak n save combined..number 1 on the shore!!!

I spent $140 on an online order. My partner went to pick it up and got told to wait 10 minutes while the worker took a smoko. We then got home to find part of the order was missing, which I rung up about to be told they were out of stock but we weren’t notified. Also to find out we were missing half a kilo of eye fillet. Really unimpressed with the service. Took 3 phone calls to get a confirmation of partial refund for what we were missing. Will never go here again.

Now have some of the best variety in the freezer and was good to buy in bulk and take advantage of the bulk discounts. The carefully cut tenderloins go a long way and the chargrilled and lemon varieties taste nice and are easy on the pallet. Marinated steaks, special of the week are full of favour. The 20 hamburger patties are reasonably priced too and are a decent size. Also bought some fish fillets and 3kg of chicken thighs that don't fill the freezer up As much as the 5kg bags. As a tradesman who needs lots of energy I will be saving significant amounts of money that can be directed into other areas, pay debt investments and support FAMILY. I have also found it a challenge to get sustainable variety into my diet. Not any more! Grateful. Butcher Jacks have been doing this for years and also had a pleasant conversation with the senior butcher too. Well done. Gone down hill significantly, I purchased meat over the weekend and Ribs were rancid when i ipened and got home and needed to be thrown out - chicken breast were also very pungent and just edible... not the place it used to be

Although the staff are really nice, every time I cook the MARINATED meat/chicken (the same day as purchased) it smells horrible. Stunk up the whole house for a couple days.The red meat packs I buy half the times, are brown.I took a pack of sausages to the counter, he took it from me & said he thinks they are expired. I will no longer continue to purchase from this store.
