We had lunch here on a beautiful Spring afternoon. This was the best meal out we have had since we moved to Northland. So delicious! We had two mezze platters - all hits and no misses. We were a couple, but while we were there the owner was very kind to two little boys with the family nearby. So happy. We will be back.

My partner and I were not greeted with a hello or a smile, as my partner went to use the toilet while I was waiting in line I told the lady I was here to buy a coffee. I asked for a flat white but they didn’t make them - I let her know that I didn’t drink black coffee and was told “does this machine look like it makes flat whites”. I was then forced to purchase something as we had used the toilet. I bought a $5 can of coke and left in tears after the rude and nasty remarks made to me by the lady. Have never experienced such terrible customer service.

Lavent Shire tea yesterday, chocolate cake today! I’ve eaten here every day this week, delicious Middle Eastern food, Bam the owner is lovely and really looks after her customers.

A delightful venue, superb service and one of the most delicious meals I've had in a long time. You can even buy award winning local olive oil. Worth detouring off SH1 for.

We first visited with family on the Friday then returned the following Tuesday, the café owner made us feel so welcome and looked after us beautifully. We had delicious Turkish coffees', tasty, generous brunches and sweet treats and will be back again soon. Thank you

We were looking for a coffee place to have a nice place to eat and chill while it was raining outside and one of the staff yelled at us. The coffee we got wasn’t even half the cup and tasted a bit off too. Had to leave as soon as we could.

Very welcoming.So pleased to find halal eatery way out in Maungatoroto. The proprietor was friendly & made her customers feel welcome, going the extra mile to make our dining pleasurable.Will certainly go back.
