Terrible experience with my family today. they just keep doing useless steps (calling to head office and asking not relevant questions) and finally we just need to update the ID card to unlock our account. asb staff here are not professional at all. wasting 3 hrs here. Time is money but they dont know about it.

I went in yesterday morning to catch up with my mum and this old man at the door that I guess being a guard was a staff member he was so rude and grumpy multiple times all because didn't have a mask on also I have breathing problems at times wearing a mask and like now it's like some shops make you wear a mask mandated and other shops no fuss about wearing masks and optional now that we are in orange and rude customer service to me as I recommend asb bank but not this asn branch.

I went to the ASB branch today to show some documents to confirm the bank account for my stepson and we couldn't do it. When you do the process it's not saying at the website you have to make an appointment to do that. They should improve their customer service. It's a waste of time, actually it's a shame!

I went yesterday with my elderly mum. Despite the long queue, all the staff who spoke with us were so polite, understanding, and really went out of their way to make sure everyone was seen as efficiently as possible. Even bringing a chair out for another older person. Thank you, doing a great job!

Terrible service- tried to open an account but it didn’t say on the website that we had to make an appointment prior to going in to the branch despite checking beforehand. It took 4 weeks to get an appointment at any Auckland branch… wildEnded up at ANZ which has thankfully pulled through- shame on your poor service ASB. Won’t be back.

NOT recommending to open a new bank account, as I went to activate an account after done everything online by myself.I visited branch on 28/01/2023 and gave me an appointment date to come back, for this activation on 08/02/2023.(almost 10 days)Hope ASB already got enough customers and busy with keeping them ONE STEP AHEAD.

This is my first review as I am livid. Rubbish service. Have been a customer for more than 30years and thinking of changing banks. Completely mucked us around trying to set up an account for my daughter, giving different info every time, forgetting to book the appointment we made with them etc. would not recommend this branch
