Following an indulgent night out on town before, we tried out local cafe Dilly’s along Church Street in Onehunga just down from the stadium. The cafe is relatively new and looked impressive on the inside with its industrial chic interior. The cabinets were very inviting with sweet and savory fare. The menu was challenging to decide on what to have and the espresso was very good. We settled on the Dilly’s Big Breakfast and Shrooms with a side of scrambled eggs.My mushrooms were under seasoned needed more flavoring so I would t order those again however the eggs were lovely. The breakfast plates appeared to be thoroughly enjoyed. There are other items I’d like to try for a second impression on the food, the oats caramel slice was lovely though.

The taste and quality were alright. The prices were expensive. The portions weren't big. Slow service.

Very busy coffee shop, beautifully decorated, this is a shop that will increase the appetite of customers, there is its own parking space at the entrance, and there are also have outdoor seats, it is really happy to sit outside when the weather is good , the staff all good, will come again next ☺️

Really enjoyed our time at Dillys.Staff were friendly, the place was clean and the food and portion sizes were great.Apart from the Waffles and the fried chicken which could have been much hotter, other than that we had a lovely time and will definitely be back, thank you so much.Update: Went back for a second visit. Eggs Bene are our new fave

Have seen this place many times driving past and see that it's always quite popular. Speedy service and friendly staff. Plenty of carparks during the weekend. Nice outdoor seating for nice days. We tried a couple of the waffle dishes which were great. The banana waffles were not too sweet! Coffee was also good! Great atmosphere and plenty of seating for small or large groups

Came here for lunch with the family and friends. We ordered the Wow Waffle, kids waffle, a steak sandwich and steam prawn, pork and chives dumplings.Service was quite fast but food quality was pretty disappointing. Both the waffle dishes were small and rather expensive with minimal elements on the dish. The steak sandwich was OK and probably the most worth it dish in terms of price vs portion. Taste was just average with plenty of cafes serving better ones than this. And the worst dish which is a rip off must be the steamed dumplings which to start was pan fried instead of steamed. The dumplings were definitely store bought ones from the supermarket and the dish came with 4 tiny dumplings and some soy sauce (refer photo) for $15! For $15 you can get probably 2 big bags of frozen ones from the supermarket which is where they got the dumpling from anyway!Very disappointing and probably will not come back again after feeling so rip off.

Food was aesthetically pleasing… but unfortunately that’s all I can say about it. Btw smoothie BOWLS aren’t supposed to be runny like milk, in fact smoothies in general shouldn’t have that consistency (and taste like milk). Smoothie bowls have a thicker consistency. I don’t know if runny milky smoothies are what you prefer, or if it was just one bad smoothie bowl, but in the future try to make it thicker please as it’s also just easier to eat… and have a bit more taste. I felt like I needed a straw because it was literally thin liquid. I recommend looking up some online so you can have a better understanding of what I’m saying. However the staff had nice smiles on their faces, and were sweet.
