The Headwaters Eco Lodge

We held our wedding at Camp Glenorchy and we had such a great time! The staff are so caring, friendly and especially helpful during the planning process, we felt like our day was top priority. The best part for us was having our guests stay onsite with us for the whole weekend so we got quality time with everyone. It has such a relaxed vibe and we loved the variety of indoor and outdoor areas, specially for hanging by the fire in the evening, playing lawn games in the sun or to cosy up on the couch’s inside.It is such a unique venue and we can’t wait to go back for yearly anniversaries!

Had a fabulous stay and was superbly looked after by staff. A delicious dinner (they catered for us) in beautiful surroundings. So warm, comfy, stylish and of course very eco friendly. Great coffee too. The beds were comfy and amenities in the chalets so clean. The composting toilets are so technologically advanced, they were nicer to use than standard toilets. No noise, no smell... ever! I would love to stay again.

This place is a little bit of heaven surrounded by mountains. We had a camper van spot here for two nights. The toilet/shower block is the cleanest block I've ever come across. The kitchen is better equipped than my kitchen at home! They offer morning yoga classes and breakfast. We did a yoga class one morning and it was brilliant. If you're in Glenorchy and need somewhere to pull in this place is amazing.

We stayed at the Eco Lodge this weekend for my sister's wedding and can't recommend it as a place to stay enough! The staff were fantastic! Simon greeted us and explained about the venue and history. It was so refreshing to meet someone so passionate about their business. The other staff were fantastic too (I feel bad I don't know their names)! Friendly, professional, go out of their way to make sure you have all you need, and make a great coffee and hot chocolate!The venue is clean, warm, and we had the best few nights sleep! I'm 29 weeks pregnant and it's the best sleep I've had in weeks! The beds are super comfortable and the rooms have lovely touches- like the little biscuits and teas.The social areas are comfortable and were so easy to set up for the wedding. My sister had a beautiful day and we can't thank the staff at camp Glenorchy enough for making their day so special!!Close to the lake and the Glenorchy hotel pub which does amazing food!Highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique wedding venue or a relaxing weekend away in nature! We will be back in the future for sure!

Can't recommend Headwaters Lodge highly enough to anyone thinking of getting married there! We decided to get married in the idyllic location so we could have a small intimate wedding. From the initial enquiry we were looked after by the staff - our day was perfect and the team when over and above to make sure of this! Beautiful venue, stunning location, committed and caring staff, wonderful food, comfortable accommodation and an unforgettable day. Couldn't have asked for more! Thank you so much ❤

We loved our stay at the Eco Lodge! I highly recommend and would hope to stay there again. We spent three nights in Glenorchy. The team was amazing. The cottages were beautiful and inspiring. The composting toilets so well done, the solar, rain water, etc. The breakfast and dinner were very well done! It was wonderful to be out of the city and surrounded by the mountains.
