All online but got phone conversation without trouble—booked wrong day but changed manually by proprietor. Bikes are good (pedal assist) and various sizes. Had trouble locating good bike path maps, with directions, in town. Perhaps some “Google Maps” to go would be helpful.

They need information on the site re parking - actually lack.of it. We would have gone from St Clair by bus if we had had that information.The bikes are clanky and one had a chain issue so gear change was not easy.They do not include a detailed map or good information about directions.We followed the instructions on the brochure re ferry crossing and that was great. However the route to Port Chalmers is under construction with very large trucks - dangerous.The person who issued the bikes needed to be more helpful.

If you like dealing with bots and remote service companies this is the place for you. Bikes were good but generic links to cycle routes gave no indication of best routes or even how to start. Really disappointed with what should have been a great morning exploring.
