Okay ish store, really sucks its one of the few places in taupo with yugioh product, as there is really no variety, also sadly the team member was helping another customer on the phone so I couldn't ask anything, I understand having short staffs but I feel they may benefit from at least 2 members, all in all illd give my experience a solid 1 due to these factors, although illd love to give them a higher rating in the future, so we will see if I ever return

Pretty Sweet. Never been to this EB Games before as I'm visiting Taupo as a tourist. Found some awesome figurines I wasnt expecting to find.

Ordered a pre owned xbox - power pack had the sticker to say it was tested and working but was fried when we got it, wouldn't power the xbox on at all. The controller with it wasn't suitable either, as the buttons were really sticky and stayed engaged meaning it couldn't be used.

I found the customer service was great but I could tell the person was flustered because of how under staffed it was I would strongly advice two staff members specially on a weekend.

Don't count on the store hours being accurate... the amount of times we've waited for them to open and them being late, or being closed when you show up right before closing to pick up an order is just insane.... why advertise you're open until 5 and then be completely shut at 4:55? Thanks fellas...

EB Games Taupo is a little small but the staff make up for it and it remains one of the best stores in the country because of the customer service. The American guy was very helpful and knowledgeable and really helped me decide on what was the best buy. Overall a great store, awesome atmosphere and a good positive vibe.
