Lake Brunner Motor Camp
Stayed 2 nights on non powered site. Friendly welcome. Very reasonable rates given the location with views of lake and nice walks close-by. Older amenities but clean. Take $1 coin for 5 min shower. Appreciated having our pup with us. Big thanks.

Great position and dog friendly with some great walks nearby. Town has some good eating options too. Nice kitchen facilities and a little shop.Problem with shower block as other people have said. Everyone sharing the ladies as gents closed for decoration .... but $1 coin for shower doesn't last long enough to wash your hair as well as shower and you then have to go outside to put another coin in. Gents not bothered about closing toilet doors which wasn't very appealing either.

Management was above helpful. Only stayed one night, but it was very clean and peaceful. The only hiccup was the shower... $1, which is fine as the camp fee was more than reasonable, but you have to wash very quickly as a $1 does not buy much water lol...All in alll came out clean and it was a good night.

Lake Brunner Motor Camp
A great improvement from our last visit 4 years ago, Jo and Tony have done a great job fixing the tired run down camp that it was plus we heard move improvements to still come. Well done on all your hard work. Obviously the word is out as it was very busy, so glad we had booked and got nice site that we could see the lake from. Food down at the hotel was delicious, easy walk from the camp.

Great stay at this beautifully situated motor camp. Given a great site to accommodate camper and row boat trailer. Facilities spotless. Observed many cleans during the day. Will be back!

Lake Brunner Motor Camp
Good location walkable to everything in Moana as well as the lake. Not sheltered the wind comes through from the lake. Facilities are good, kitchen could do with an upgrade but reasonable. Showers are disappointing as they have removed the mixer so you only get 1 temperature and that temperature is a bit too warm for kids my toddler cried and couldn’t complete his shower saying it was too hot. This is the same in the womens and mens.

Big camp site, fantastic owners so friendly & obliging.Lovely views of Lake, good walks, lovely swimming.Kitchen facilities good & a lounge area.Dont go at a long weekend as packed & several parties, our fault forgot it was a Waitangi weekend & a major cycle race on.Pub down the road, great to sit with a cool beer & a sensational view.

Super clean and tidy motor camp! Friendly owners, always keeping the place looking nice and offering us safe storage for bikes. Kitchen and bathroom had exactly what we needed and always clean. Great location, close to water and walks and of course the pub :)

Such a fantastic place to stay!It has great facilities, a fantastic view and a nice atmosphere.The owners are lovely and very helpful.Added bonus is that the campground is dog friendly.We definitely will be back. :)
