I didn't really get my pick of the toys.. obviously people don't have to play with you if they don't want to.. but in situations like this wouldn't it be great if there was some way to ensure other girls weren't being bullies and were sharing fairly? The beginning of what felt like social exclusion for all of my childhood. I just wanted to play with the perceived cool kids. But yeah i never really got to use activities i wanted to so had to go for other options. We climbed up the bank towards the school and [i think it was] Sharon [who] grazed her bum. They looked at mine too but i don't think i got injured but my Mum picked me up that day early perhaps.I played with a couple of nice boys as well since the other girls were hogging some stuff i was interested in and wouldn't let me participate. Early intervention here might've helped shape a better character for that chick. I wouldn't call it great leadership traits.. that's just plain bossy fair and square.[some people want to ban the term bossy" in females - not me]Scarred for life.. not so much that bossy female kids exist.. that no one intervenes or cares about how that makes me feel..We probably don't want police in schools.. but holding people to account who do the wrong thing would be great.I realise it would be quite a task for the people in charge. But they seem to find time to have a go at me for things.. so why not use that energy some where more productive? The most important thing to focus on is the person doing the wrong thing not the reactions of victims. Victims require a different form of support to perpertrators. Getting told off for your reactions is not welcome. It's perfectly reasonable to become upset at someone never being held to account and blame being incorrectly awarded to yourself. When my older sister [who is someone who doesn't get held to account] got upset at school in class about my Dad going overseas the teacher decided that was a thing that it was okay for me to get upset about. And they came and sat by me.. i just walked off.. shook my head.. and told them the bullying was worse..so it's like if my sister got upset about something it's valid.. but my own concerns and feelings don't matter to anyone.i realise the world doesn't revolve around me and there's lots of other people to think of.. but other kids could listen and evaluate things better than a teacher.I think resourcing the right humans into the right roles might help. We need to do HR better. People claiming to be good at this and that and getting others to agree and give references doesn't seem to work well. We need a better system.Papakowhai eh?"
